photo.jpgAbout Me

Hi thank you for visiting my website.

My name is Caroline Hyland and I am an illustrator based in Dublin, Ireland.

I really enjoy the challenge and process of creating visuals that entice people to read an article in a newspaper or pick up a book. I have experience working with newspaper and book publishers, as well as marketing companies. I am also available for commissions.

It is important to me that my work is used to make information more accessible for people. I currently illustrate and design visual supports for people with intellectual disability to enable them to participate in meetings and advocate for themselves.

My first solo exhibition entitled “Can You See What I See?” can be viewed in Tallaght Hospital until March 18th 2018. This series of twelve hand painted illustrations with accompanying text explores and promotes living well with Dementia. It is important that everyone in society feels informed as Dementia touches many lives. The exhibition invites the public to engage with the text and images and aims to empower people to use what they may learn to help themselves and others to live well and feel included in society.

I hope to tour this exhibition and I am looking to make contact with anyone that has an interest in exhibiting /funding it.

This website will be updated in the following months.

Please refer to my Facebook page for further updates on my exhibition.

Thank you

Caroline
